Wordsmyth Literacy provides individualized dyslexia evaluation, structured-literacy therapy, and practical professional development. Our work is grounded in careful assessment, explicit teaching, measurable progress, and respect for every learner’s strengths.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

EDUCATIONAL DYSLEXIA EVALUATION

Comprehensive educational evaluation using standardized measures of achievement, phonological processing, word-reading efficiency, oral-reading fluency, and comprehension. Families receive a written report, a results conference, and guidance for instructional, IEP, or Section 504 next steps.

DYSLEXIA THERAPY

Individualized structured-literacy intervention for learners who struggle with decoding, spelling, fluency, or written language. Instruction is diagnostic, explicit, systematic, cumulative, and supported by ongoing progress monitoring.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Dyslexia Awareness to Classroom Action™ helps educators recognize signs of dyslexia, understand the science of reading, and translate knowledge into practical classroom support. Training may include the Experience Dyslexia™ simulation developed by the Northern California Branch of the International Dyslexia Association.

WHY WORDSMYTH?

Wordsmyth is led by TJ Feth, M.A.T., CALP—a licensed educator, Certified Academic Language Practitioner, and U.S. Air Force veteran with more than 30 additional graduate hours in special education. TJ is trained in Take Flight, Build, and Jet, reading interventions developed by Scottish Rite for Children.

PROGRAMS IN DEVELOPMENT

Green to Read and the Green to Read Veterans Initiative are emerging Wordsmyth curriculum-development projects. They are not currently offered as operational programs. Updates will be shared as development and validation progress.
